Newsletter for the fires on the island of Rhodes – July 2023

We are watching the saddening events of the fires in Rhodes with great sorrow and concern, both for the disastrous natural impact and for the unforeseen disruption in the development of beloved travel destinations, which support the national economy with the help of the FRAPORT network regional airports.

Prime Spot couldn’t stand uninvolved during those challenging times, and not participate actively in the efforts to salvage the credibility of the national tourism product occurring from the state, regional entities, volunteers and business owners of the affected areas.

We are therefore assisting to the best of our abilities, by providing mattresses, coverings and essential goods at the emergency shelters already since 23/07. We have also provided 2 rentals in the area of Koskinos for four days, for the sheltering of two families of tourists with young children.
